Rules of a Sci-Phi Pilot's Philosophical Flight J.D. Casnig's/G.G. Falderal's Personal Philosophy Each night, both on the way into "The Great Tie-In" and on the way back out, there were rules that I'd placed on my thoughts. Only material that could withstand the disciplines herein were allowed to make it to the "Pool", the safest haven for "fact" that I could provide. It is important that one not consider these rules as a suggestion for others to follow - they are a brutal reflection of my known personal weaknesses. Many are not included in this list, as they are deeply personal and extremely harsh. One may view these rules as punitive upon my very soul at times - this is an illusion. They are rules created exclusively by myself for myself, with an eye towards the elimination of those psychological weaknesses that I had seen skew far too many thoughts in this world. Though quite free to have human frailties in the "world of the living", I felt that pure thought could only occur to me if I could eliminate the self, replacing it with a group of all the metaphysical perspectives known to me. Please be advised that these rules are not suited for children. Though a child had created them, this child as adult now questions what impact these rules may have had on his happiness in those times. In short, too many rules may spoil the child. Whether as protection from the insanity of this world, or as cage that limited the freedoms afforded by having a psyche, these rules were and are the foundation for all of the Sci-Phi Pilot's works.
