An everyday puddle evaporates in stages under a sky of broken clouds. Each visitation of the sun results in the deposition of matter on its' tiny shores...

The result is a growth of tree-like rings. The role that the growing season plays in depositing another ring seems no different than that of the burst of sunlight that grew one of these rings, with the suns' energy creating a supersaturate that must be deposited during cooling. We, as animals, need pauses between our feeding periods, to consolodate the material and energy we gather. Even within our language, our music and our genes, we find a need for the rests and stops of punctuation.

About This Site

This website is dedicated to the proposal that the metaphorical relationships drawn between any two disciplines are, in fact, universal, being isomorphic mathematical derivations of the Unified Field Theory. Further, that this symmetric aspect of metaphor is extrapolatable both linearly and laterally, thus may be harnessed to mathematically predict missing knowledge and invention in all other disciplines: an interdisciplinary Rosetta stone of universal scope.

"The metaphor reminds us that the universe is full of cousins." - J.D. Casnig
