Note: You may have seen this shot earlier, but the explanation is far different... A steady sprinkling of water fell in the cold days before, making a spectacular ice cavern, which, only one day before this ice was crystal-clear...
When a liquid is subject to the conditions of sudden radical cooling, or cannot dissipate quickly due to the cohesiveness of particulate within the water, the liquid can form bulbous formations that resemble piled-up water balloons. This is seen with water, as above; water/sediment mixes such as stalagmites; or even materials, such as metals, that have been liquified and splashed about, say during pouring at a refinery. The flattened ball structure is easy to see as an effort on gravitys' part to take the three-dimensional drops and turn them into a two-dimensional plane. What's more - these smaller forms are trying to blend together, but, lacking time, behave as individual STEMs (Space/Time/Energy/Mass encapsulations). This may lead one to wonder whether the role of gravity is not only simply collective, but is also homogenizing to the dimensions: Gravity may be undoing the efforts of the Big Bang. Perhaps, then, rather than the model that suggests that after the Big Bang plays itself out we go through a separate phase called the "Big Crunch", instead, the two are simultaneous processes along juxtaposed dimensions. But for this war between dimensions to have started with an energetic, gravity-minimized explosion into a 3-d space from a minimal space portal ("Cosmic Egg Theory"), the energy, which apparently cannot be destroyed, must change into something, lest we have a continuous universe that had a beginning (?!!). But what would it chang into? "The only thing certain in life is death and taxes". How terribly appropriate. Death is relative decay, yes? For example, the sun will die as a result of its' constant, costly release of mass as energy: As heavier nuclei are produced, the death of a star is immenent. Indeed, the sun will become something new over and over, but each time ultimately becoming more gravitational and less energetic, perhaps even falling into the gravitational homogeny of a black hole. Incentive is behind every transaction of the universe. A transaction is a change. Energy is involved in all changes. Energy flows "downhill" when it is not impeded. It is distributive by its' very nature, just as gravity is collective by its' nature. Such incentive, in the world of business is profit, found most often in the form of cold, hard cash. But a business transaction does not occur in a vaccuum. An underlying system that allows conveyance of goods or money (mass or energy) must be in place - in our case, say roads or electricity. Such systems do not build themselves: They take cash - ENERGY. We call it tax. Tax is usually proportionate to the size of the transaction. Theoretically, the smallest transaction would be of two cents/pence: one for the goods; one for the tax collector. But the tax collector, with only one penny in hand, cannot make a purchase of any kind - they could only give away the money, but, in a downhill system of money, everyone else has equal or greater money. Likewise, the trader is stuck with the smallest possible purchase or sale - and would need to try to find somewhere to sell their new acquisition for a greater price than the market will bear (just as energy is lazy, purchasers want the lowest price), or; if they have only cash in hand, they cannot afford the tax on their purchase. All that either the tax collector or poor merchant can do is take up space. Smaller than everything, bigger than nothing. An iota, an entropon , a particle that is too small to be measured by any device. Pinholes of mass/energy in the fabric of timespace. A perpetually vacant lot in the business cosmos.
