You wouldn't think of eating this stuff, even
though it's called "popcorn rock"...
But this clay makes for an
ingredient in ice cream !!
Ultra fine and highly
water-absorbing, this clay actually helps the texture of the ice cream.
We so often forget that we would have never existed had our ancestors not eaten
rock. This life-supercritical process is ultimately responsible for the bulk of
our body mass: Our bones, like this rock or a piece of chalk, are made partly of
calcium. The plants we eat, through the soil created in part by lichen and
bacteria, are like externalized digestive systems that help us eat rock.
This website
is dedicated to the proposal that the metaphorical relationships drawn
between any two disciplines are, in fact, universal, being
isomorphic mathematical derivations of the Unified Field Theory. Further, that this symmetric
aspect of
metaphor is extrapolatable both linearly and laterally, thus may be harnessed to mathematically
predict missing knowledge
and invention in all
other disciplines: an interdisciplinary Rosetta stone of
universal scope.
"The
metaphor reminds us that the universe is full of cousins." -
