Pilot's Prose

In the course of life and its many teachings, we may stop to smell flowers or capture a moment, or stop because we are mired by grief or sadness. Pilot's Prose is a collection of observations, explorations or tribulations as gathered through my experiences, from the perspective found somewhere between the heights of philosophy and the cold hard reality below...

Divided somewhat arbitrarily into four sections, this collection will be added to bit by bit, as finger and keys get a moment for a quiet rendezvous with old notes. Section one, "Poe-etry", deals with the not-so-pleasant aspects of life, usually in a style similar to its partial namesake. Section two, "Prose", deals primarily with the beauty that may be found in life, sometimes with a melancholic or bittersweet flavor. The third section, "Know-etry", is a collection of facts or theories as presented in poetic form. Finally, the content of the third section, "Close", is quite undecided as of yet, but its title rhymes with "Prose"!

About This Site

This website is dedicated to the proposal that the metaphorical relationships drawn between any two disciplines are, in fact, universal, being isomorphic mathematical derivations of the Unified Field Theory. Further, that this symmetric aspect of metaphor is extrapolatable both linearly and laterally, thus may be harnessed to mathematically predict missing knowledge and invention in all other disciplines: an interdisciplinary Rosetta stone of universal scope.

"The metaphor reminds us that the universe is full of cousins." - J.D. Casnig
